Our   three  comfortable, centrally heated and well equipped  luxury self catering gites and cottages all with WiFi  internet access  in the Loire Valley, are set around an attractive flower filled  sunny private  gated courtyard.  We are surrounded by vineyards, sunflowers and maize, yet only 4 minutes from the market town of Doue la Fontaine. and 15 minutes from historic Saumur. The low cost airlines fly into Tours, Poiters, Angers Nantes and Rennes and are within easy driving distance to us.  The TGV from Paris comes into Saumur

Each well appointed accommodation also offers a  sunny private garden or patio  with garden furniture and bbq.. Each  superior self catering gite has been comfortably furnished to a high standard.. The self catering cottages and  converted barns also  have, for our guests added comfort   and ease of travel, a hairdryer and UK travel adaptor at no extra charge.  Books and games are in each cottage and we have a multitude of videos and dvd's which guests can borrow at no charge.

Linen, tea towels, and house towels are included in the price.  Pool towels can be hired at a small local charge

4 course evening meals are available on selected evenings. which we serve  to you and  then take away the washing up!!! See the comments in our guest books

A strictly no smoking and no pets policy applies in all the properties.

.The heated swimming pool  and children's paddling pool and play area (unsupervised)  are situated in the large sunny  garden, overlooking the vineyards, where you can lounge in the sunshine from early morning until late evening. There are also, tables, chairs, & sun loungers  where you can listen to the bird song and enjoy a glass of Loire wine.  The  heated pool is open mid May to mid September.

 We have untreated fruit trees,  strawberries,  raspberries, blackberries, rhubarb, pears, apples, plums & cherries which grow abundantly (usually) and guests are welcome to sample. them. Some fresh herbs are also grown in the gardens  for guests to add to their French inspired cooking

 Cycling, bird watching   and walking  around the wonderful quiet  country lanes that surround the gîtes is delightful. We have bicycles for hire and although we have helmets, in the interests of safety, we do advise our guests to bring their own to ensure a correct fit. . 

Bring your camera to capture some of the wonderful birds that visit our gardens, you might be lucky enough to photograph our red squirrel family!  In the nearby woods you may spot deer, although these pretty creatures are elusive, some of our guests have been lucky enough to see them

For those guests travelling with babies and toddlers ask  for details on our  Travelling with Tots and Toddlers Welcome Packs,  which include, cots, highchairs, changing mats, potties and much more.  Available at no extra charge.  The countryside surrounding the property is beautiful with quiet lanes bordering vineyards and picturesque villages, so ask about our  cycles for hire  which are payable at a  small local charge, it is advisable to reserve these in advance and we will have them ready for you.

A converted wine making barn, Soleil  has been wonderfully converted to offer both historic charm and great comfort. We have retained the original wine press  and flagged floor in the semi circular kitchen. Sleeps 8 (6 adults, 2 children under 12) plus cot.
The original farmhouse. Over 200 years old, the gite/cottage is typically French in design  yet we have  retained character and charm, and  has all the modern comforts of home. Sleeps 6 plus cots.
A converted barn, with original exposed walls, original beams were  used for the staircase and ancient quarry tiles  found in the garden, give this cottage great character, with private gardens overlooking vineyards. Sleeps 2 plus baby/toddler/small child
