Just a short drive away are world famous zoos,  also diverse attractions such as Futurscope,  wonderful chateaux; including: Saumur, Chinon, Anger, Brissac, Villandry, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois, Usse,  not to mention fantastic restaurants to suit all pockets, Local markets provide you with the freshest of ingredients for your meals, taken from surrounding farms. There are adventure parks such as Holly Park aimed at the young and adventure parks with trails  and challenges for all  ages. with 'tarzan trails going through the forest. Go karting is nearby where family and friends can challenge each other to the fasted times

Over two hundred years old and oozing charm & characture Les Fleurs comprises of three self catering gîtes, and holiday homes, sleeping 2, 6 and 8 + cots which retain typical French farmhouse charm, whilst providing the comforts of home. The swimming pool, paddling pool, children’s play area with toddler slide and swings, (unsupervised) are situated in a garden which basks in sunshine from early morning until sunset. We offer evening meals, on selected evenings and baby sitting may be arranged with a local child minder with prior notice. Each  self catering holiday home/property / rental has either a private garden or patio area in which to enjoy your holidays. There is also a large garden with sun loungers, tables and chairs etc. The gites are situated just outside Les Verchers  sur Layon and just 4 kilometres from the market town of Doué La Fontaine, famous for its rose growing , and just 15 minutes from historic Saumur with its glorious chateau towering above the ancient town and romantic Loire river, all set in the heart of the glorious Loire Valley wine route and Parc Nationale, making this the perfect setting for your  self catering Loire Valley Holiday. The area is steeped in history with many superb chateaux being open to the public. Puy Notre Dame and its  historic church are  just a few minutes away and can be seen illuminated in the evening from our courtyard.  The church was once on the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela and is said to have a girdle of the Virgin Mary.  Loire wine tasting is available everywhere, where you can sample the wines that have been made by the same families for generations. There are few places that can offer more for your  self catering vacation. Golf courses dot the region, cycling, golf, horse riding, bird watching; fishing, water sports and hunting are all close by.
