In
the heart of the Loire valley wine route (we are ideally placed to
visit the many vineyards for wine tasting) and in the Parc National
(famous for bird watching), these glorious gites offer superb
self-catering accommodation and Cottages in a child friendly
environment. Catering from couples wanting a romantic holiday in the
Loire Valley, to families who need a complete break in a safe
environment with entertainment for all ages close by. Just a short
drive away are world famous zoos, Futurscope, Chateaux; including:
Saumur, Chinon, Anger, Brissac, Villandry, Chenonceau, Amboise, Blois,
Usse, the Vendee beaches, not to mention fantastic restaurants to suit
all pockets, Local markets provide you with the freshest of ingredients
for your meals.
Over two hundred years old and 4 STAR French
Tourist Board Rated, Les Fleurs comprises of three gîtes, sleeping 2, 6
and 8 + cots which retain typical French farmhouse charm, whilst
providing the comforts of home. The swimming pool, paddling pool,
children’s play area with toddler slide and swings, are situated in a
garden which basks in sunshine from early morning until sunset. We offer
evening meals on selected evenings, and baby sitting may be
arranged with a local child minder with prior notice.
Each gite / rental has
either a private garden or patio area in which to enjoy your holidays.
The gites are situated just outside Les Verchers just 4 kilometres from
the market town of Doué La Fontaine, famous for its roses, and just 15
minutes from historic Saumur with its glorious chateau towering above
the ancient town and romantic Loire river, all set in the heart of the
glorious Loire Valley, France, making this the perfect setting for your
Loire Valley Holiday. The area is steeped in history with many superb
chateaux being open to the public. Wine tasting is available
everywhere, where you can sample the wines that have been made by the
same families for generations. There are few places that can offer more
for your vacation. Golf courses dot the region, cycling, horse riding,
bird watching; fishing, water sports and hunting are all close by. |
